Village's Christmas Lights Switch-On Brightens with Community Spirit!
The recent Christmas Lights Switch-On event was a sparkling triumph, uniting our community in a festive celebration that will be fondly remembered.
Levens Playing Fields fundraising efforts are off to a £73,000+ flying start
In May, an incredible £600 was raised for the Levens Playing Fields courts revamp project by Levens Arts and Film Society at a concert. This comes on the back of news unveiled on 15th May 2024 that an incredible £20,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund towards the renovation of their tarmac courts has been received.
Plants on The Green surpasses record for annual fundraising
Plants on The Green was set up in 2020 as a means of raising money for Kendal and Milnthorpe food banks.
As at the end of 2023, it has raised over £7200 and counting.
