Community Survey on Proposed Development of 54 homes - off Greengate.
On Tuesday 13 January 2026, Alderley Homes held a public consultation event in Levens on their proposals for the construction of approximately 54 dwellings with access off Greengate.
Many members of our Levens community together with parish councilors took part and met Alderley Homes at the village hall to view and express concerns about the plans in relation to Primary School places, poor access via Greengate, water pressure issues, sewage problems, lack of a bus commuting service, highways village access, Levens lane footpath and affordable options.
To accompany the community survey on this development Levens Parish Council has put together a special newsletter which will be shared with Westmorland & Furness Council before the expected submission of planning for the site. Follow the link below.
