Levens Annual Parish Meeting will be held at The Village Hall next Tuesday 19th May 7.30pm.

Delayed from its usual March date to May this year while so many developments and plans have been happening in the village.

Local Village groups and associations are encouraged to submit a report or come and present one on their progress, issues and activities over the last year to our community

Our tree will be up and decorated ready for Sunday 30th November. Gathering from 4pm for the switch on at 5pm.

The infamous Marquee Dance takes place on on the playing fields on the first Saturday in July each year. It is a family event with a live band, hot food, and bar.

Written and performed by Julie Carter, The Dreamtime Fellrunner is a poetic, fun and moving exploration of Julie’s running exploits on the Lakeland fells. Presenting fellrunning as a type of land art and spiritual practice, this is an aesthetic performance which allows people to experience the beauty of a wonderful sport, regardless of their degree of familiarity with the fells and running.

Catch-up on, or quiz Levens Parish Council members, on local matters and hear about the activities of Levens-based voluntary or local community groups.

All are welcome to the annual Friends of Levens School (FOLS) Christmas Fair to be held this year on Friday 6th December 5pm - 7pm.
