If you are at high risk of becoming seriously ill from COVID-19 and don't have help at hand from friends, family or neighbours, please contact the emergency helpline for Cumbria.
The number to call is 0800 783 1966.
Or you can send an email to: COVID19support@cumbria.gov.uk
This new emergency support service has been launched this week by Cumbria County Council, ourselves and other partners across the county in response to the Coronavirus lockdown.
It provides a vital link between people at risk who have no wider support network, and those who are ready and able to help them through this difficult time.
For full details, visit Cumbria.gov.uk
The service has been set up by Cumbria County Council and partners as a result of close partnership working with District Councils, CVS, Cumbria Community Foundation, community and voluntary sector, and the private sector.
The History Group meeting due on 21 May is now cancelled - for the obvious reasons. Best Wishes to all.

Clerk, Levens Parish Council
LEVENS OUTREACH POST OFFICE will begin again in the Methodist Chapel on Monday 18th May from
1.0pm - 3.30pm, Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Please note the change of time.
Strict safe-distancing will be in place.
Please note - the Bowling Club Coffee Morning planned for Saturday 28th March at Levens Institute will no longer be taking place.
We are advised that the Levens bus services, 550, 551 & 552 are being suspended with immediate effect owing to greatly reduced patronage and reduced staff availability.
We are told this decision has not been taken lightly and KL Coaches hope to reinstate the services as soon as they can.
With the current self-isolation advice they would imagine this to be the week commencing 1st June, however this is obviously under review and should the “all clear” be given earlier they would look to recommence straight away.
