All are welcome to the annual Friends of Levens School (FOLS) Christmas Fair.

This year held on Friday 1st December 5.30pm - 7.30pm across two venues, The Institute and Methodist Church, to make space for our usual antics plus local stallholders.

Gathering from 4pm for the switch on at 5pm. Featuring a homemade pizza van, mulled wine stall, hot and cold drinks and baked goods by Friends of Levens School + music by Coldharbour Road and Levens Brownies (carol singing) for everyone to join in.

The infamous Marquee Dance takes place on on the playing fields on the first Saturday in July each year. It is a family event with a live band, hot food, and bar.

St. John’s Church invite you to join in their ‘citizen science’ nature watch in the churchyard to help them find out how biodiverse it is. This is part of a UK-wide programme of biodiversity events that will see data collated on the biological records hub, the National Biodiversity Network.

Could you give an hour or two?

We want to do a spot of painting, fix some energy saving items, and do a bit of garden tidying – can you come along and help?

Wine & nibbles are back! The impact of Coronavirus meant that the last ‘usual style’ parish meeting was held in 2019 so it is with pleasure that the Parish Council is planning a return to the traditional format for this annual meeting in 2023.

Drawing on the visual wonder of beetles – one of the most varied and beautiful species on the planet, the workshop will encourage participants to explore the range of shapes and colours of this fascinating species.

Dawn will demonstrate some of her collage techniques to create super decorative wall hung objects which celebrate these living jewels. This half day workshop is suitable for beginners.
