Levens B4RN broadband - Costs

B4RN’s charges are made up of a one-off £150 connection charge and a monthly service fee (typically £30 for most households). You can have B4RN installed and start taking service immediately, or you can delay taking service until you’re ready, or when your current phone/broadband contract expires.

Further information and specifics are available on B4RN's website (external link).

Householders are responsible for getting the conduit from their threshold to their house via whatever means necessary! Volunteers (like Dave pictured above) may be able to help.

Please consider a donation to Levens Charity

Without the support of Levens Charity, via grant funding, which enabled the Levens B4RN project to purchase items such as a printer and consumables, produce publicity material, purchase tools for groundworks, etc., we would not have been able to reach the stage we are now in the project.

We are happy to assist with the installation of your B4RN service and would request that, as a token of your thanks for the time and effort put in by our volunteers, you make a donation to Levens Charity. In this way our Levens Community will continue to benefit from our voluntary work.

Levens Charity is registered with the Charity Commission (Charity number 1030561) and makes grants to local bodies or organisations for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Levens.

Our suggested minimum donation is £50. Any larger amounts will be gratefully received by the charity.
