Around and About

Around and About

Here are some items that may be of interest that people of Levens are involved in, but mostly lie out side the parish boundary and so are not included in the main site.

Places to Walk around Levens

Levens Park- Pretty and flat walking.
The Helm- Very steep but short and a good viewpoint.

Scout Scar- Good view point and a short walk from the car park or longer walk from Helsington church
Whitbarrow Scar-Best to go from the other side in Witherslack.  Goes up steeply to the top and you can go along the top the down to make a circular. The picture above is not at the top as the others are; it is Whitbarrow Scar from Levens.

Arnside Knott-Very short walk from the car park to a very good view across Morecambe Bay
Canal at Sedgwick-Flat, can be made an hours walk round if taken from Force falls near Sedgwick.
